St Matthew's C of E Primary School was inspected by Ofsted from the 28-29th June this year, and after two months, the report was published, which had rated the school as "Good" in a range of aspects, from the quality of education, to the leadership and management. The news of the Ofsted report was huge for the school, and as a result, banners were hung up around Redhill and those who drove into the town would be welcomed by a large billboard from the school.

Local individuals had reacted well to the result of St Matthew's School's Ofsted report, which was published on the school website, as well as the school's Twitter page on the 5th September.

Speaking to Volodymyr Honchar, the premises manager of the school, about the report, he said, "Well I obviously feel very happy, very relieved, and to be honest, satisfied. I also feel proud of the staff, of the school staff, because everyone worked really hard to get the result we have".

The school also had a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection in March of 2020, where they were also reported as a "good school".

After this excellent report from Ofsted, the primary school continues to follow their values - aiming high, encouraging others and having faith.
