Looking for a peaceful but gorgeous sunset spot? Richmond Park's expansive landscape offers many enchanting spots for an evening stroll, as well as a river teeming with ducks, swans, and other scenic beauty.
Nowadays, it's quite difficult to find a special place to admire greenery or to gaze at the sky. Instead of being able to spend time with nature, you'd probably end up enjoying the sounds of car horns and the vision of industrial buildings blocking the skies. Richmond park, being a protected National Nature Reserve, contains the beauty of nature in all of its wild glory, allowing for calm strolls and relaxing days out. Being famous for its deer, it has sometimes been overlooked for its other great aspects and views, which can be fun places to explore and take a walk in, as well as its wildlife.
With a land area of 2500 acres, it opens up a plethora of worthwhile walks. In addition to being able to cycle through the cycling paths and admire the deer, it's a relaxing place to spend time in, whether just alone, or with friends and family. Some must-see spots in Richmond Park include the pond near Pembroke House, which is a lovely spot for catching a glimpse of the sunset, or taking a stroll by King Henry's Mound for an elevated view.
A natural place with many spots to explore; you could go in the evening to watch the sunset or spend the entire day exploring the park- it is definitely a relaxing break from London chaos.
