Flooding has been reported outside Finchley Road station after last night's heavy rain.

Passengers at the station, which serves the Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines, had to wade through deep water at the entrance yesterday evening.

A yellow weather warning was issued yesterday with Storm Claudio approaching.

London Fire Brigade said it was dealing with the impact of high winds and rainfall across the capital. It urged people not to drive or walk through floodwater.

Parts of the M25, the A41 and A1 in north London have long delays due to blockages.

Some rail routes are also hit.

London Underground services on the District line were suspended between Earl's Court and Richmond and Ealing Broadway after signal failures.

TfL says it is accepting rail tickets on buses.
