A fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning at commercial premises in Dartford is being treated as “suspicious”.
Firefighters were called to reports of the fire in Hawley Road at 4.13am this morning (October 16).
Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which involved a derelict caravan, tyres, fencing and other scrap materials.
The fire was under control by 5.17am.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a reports of a fire at a commercial premises in Hawley Road, Dartford.
“Three fire engines attended, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which involved a derelict caravan, tyres, fencing and other scrap materials.
“No injuries were reported.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.”
