Two platforms have been shut at Euston station today after an incident in which a man was rushed to hospital with injuries.
British Transport Police said that the man had suffered "self-inflicted injuries" onboard a train.
A cordon has been put in place on platforms 14 and 15, and paramedics attended the scene and took the man to hospital for treatment.
In a statement BTP said: "Officers were called to Euston station at 11.48am this morning (7 October) following reports of a man seriously injured onboard a train.

"Paramedics also attended and he has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"At this stage, it is believed he has sustained self-inflicted injuries.
"Officers remain at the scene conducting enquiries into the full circumstances of what happened, and a cordon is currently in place on platforms fourteen and fifteen."
Euston station is located just off Euston Road, with thousands of people using it every day to travel throughout the capital.
