Police are appealing for help in finding a man after an indecent exposure incident in Lewisham.  

It happened in Lewisham High Street near an Iceland store just before 11pm on July 30. 

The incident was witnessed by two women who are now being supported by police.  

Officers believe the suspect left the scene by boarding a P4 bus.  

He is described by police as black, around 5ft 9 tall, bald, and aged in his 50s.  

He was wearing a black or dark blue suit with a white shirt and a red tie.  

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify and speak to.  

Anyone who has any information that could assist police is urged to call 101 and quote reference CAD 3268/19SEP22. 

Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command have released an image of a man they want to trace following an incident of indecent exposure in Lewisham.

"The incident happened in Lewisham High Street close to the Iceland shop shortly before 11pm on Saturday, 30 July 2022 and was witnessed by two woman.

“Both women are being supported by police.

“The suspect is believed to have left the scene by boarding a route P4 bus.

“He is described as black, around 5ft 9” tall and aged in his 50s.  

“He is bald and was wearing a black/dark blue suit, white shirt and red tie.

“Anyone who recognises this man or has any information that could assist police is urged to call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 3268/19SEP22.

“Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
