A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Erith.

The incident happened in Northend Road at 5pm on September 17.

Officers and London Ambulance Services crews attended the scene.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Police enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At around 5pm on Saturday, 17 September officers on routine patrol were flagged down on Northend Road, Erith to a man with stab injuries.

“Officers found the man and London Ambulance Service also attended. 

“A 21-year-old-man was taken to hospital and his injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.

“No arrests and enquiries ongoing.

“Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 and give reference 4859/17Sep.”
