A man who crashed into another vehicle during a police chase and then tried to run away has been jailed.
Jerome Minott attempted to speed away from police after being asked to stop his car on July 4.
The 35-year-old, from Golders Green Road, London, broke the speed limit and crashed into another vehicle.

He then abandoned his car in Chilwell Close, Waltham Abbey, and tried to escape on foot.
Officers from Harlow Community Policing Team detained Minott nearby.
Minott pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at a hearing at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 25 August.
He was jailed for eight months, banned from driving for two years, and fined £187 by the court.
Sergeant Callum Stephen said: “Minott exceeded the speed limits putting other road users at risk and was driving in a manner that was dangerous.
“Our priority is to protect the safety of all road users and Minott was rightly brought before the court.”
