STARBUCKS has confirmed the opening date for a new branch in Kidbrooke.

The coffee shop will be located in Pegler Square, Kidbrooke Village.

The new branch will be open from 10am on Friday, August 19.

A planning application for the new store was submitted to Greenwich Council on March 3, 2022.

The application proposed the installation of an internal mounted digital display board, a vinyl sign, a projecting sign, and one fascia sign.

It will be open seven days a week from 7am until 9pm, Monday to Saturday and 8am until 8pm on Sunday.

Delivery will also be available to all customers through Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.

Inside seating and free Wi-Fi are also available for customers.

The new store will create 10 new jobs, according to a spokesperson for Starbucks.

The American coffee chain currently has 80,000 stores across 80 different countries, according to its website.

The application was approved by Greenwich Council on April 28.

A spokesperson for Starbucks said: “We can confirm that a Starbucks store will open in Kidbrooke at 10am on Friday 19 August. Operated by Starbucks licensee, AM Coffee Retail, the store will create 10 new jobs.

“The store has a contemporary design, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and relax with the comfortable seating and free wi-fi.

“Delivery will also be fully available to all customers via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

“Customers can also order via the Starbucks® UK App, available for iPhone® and Android™, to order ahead, skip the queue and collect to takeaway.
