Officers seized a huge amount of NOS along with a knife during a raid in Clapham Junction yesterday.
Police from the licensing team confiscated numerous boxes of NOS, which is sometimes referred to as “laughing gas”, as well as loose canisters.
They also found a large kitchen knife along with drug supply paraphernalia.
NOS, or Nitrous Oxide, is a colourless gas sold in canisters which usually inhaled using a balloon.
While you can legally buy NOS for things such as whipping cream, it is also taken as a drug.
Too much nitrous oxide can make you faint, lose consciousness, or suffocate.
This substance is covered by the 2016 Psychoactive Substances Act, which means it’s illegal to give away or sell for its psychoactive effects.
An investigation into the premises continues.
Falconbrook Police tweeted: “An impressive haul! Local officers assisted.
