SHOCKING pictures show the roof of a home damaged after a two-hour fire in Bexleyheath. 

The fire broke out in Olron Crescent just before 3pm yesterday (July 25).  

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the blaze.

Pictures from the scene show smoke billowing into the air as firefighters tackle the fire.    

One picture shows a firefighter standing on the edge of a roof which has been damaged by the blaze.  

An outbuilding, belonging to a neighbouring property, was destroyed by the fire.

A part of an adjoining garage was also damaged by the blaze.  

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 10 calls to the fire. 

There were no reports of any injuries.  

The fire was under control by 4.51pm.  

Firefighters from Sidcup, Eltham, and Erith fire stations attended the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Olron Crescent in Bexleyheath.  

“Part of the loft of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire.  

“Part of an adjoining garage was also damaged by the blaze and an outbuilding belonging to a neighbouring property was destroyed.  

“There were no reports of any injuries.

“The Brigade's 999 Control Officers have taken 10 calls to the fire.  

The Brigade was called at 1456 and the fire was under control by 1651.
