The driver of a silver BMW sports car has been fined almost £600 after being caught drink driving in Sidcup.

Ross Ellul, of Mayfair Avenue in Bexleyheath, was stopped while driving in Blackfen Road on July 2, 2022.

There was 43 microgrammes of alcohol in a sample of 100 millilitres of Ellul’s breath - which exceeds the prescribed limit.

The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence and was ordered to pay £575 during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on July 18, 2022.

This includes a £350 fine, £114 to fund victim services and costs of £85.

Ellul is also disqualified from holding a driving License for one year.

The disqualification can be reduced to 13 weeks if he completes a driving course by February 17, 2023.
