THE FORMER Poundland store in Welling High Street is available to let on Zoopla right now.
The premises, located in Bellegrove Road, could be yours for just £60,000 per year.
The store closed its doors in early 2021 due to “essential” maintenance work, according to a spokesperson for Poundland.
The retailer previously confirmed in December 2021 to the News Shopper that the Poundland store would reopen.
However, it is now available to let.
It offers 5,300 square feet of space which is ideal for a new supermarket, a restaurant, or other retail stores.
The property comprises a triple-fronted ground floor commercial unit within a “newly” converted and refurbished mixed-use building, according to Zoopla.
It also has an ‘E’ class licence which means it is suitable for a wide range of occupiers, including retailers, restauranteurs, leisure, and medical.
Other stores such as a Tesco, a Morrisons, a Lidl, and a McDonald’s are also located near the property.
Poundland temporarily shut 44 branches across England after lockdown measures were tightened in early January 2021.
The retailer also closed the doors of 120 stores in March 2020 but reopened the sites in May 2021.
