A man from Plumstead has been ordered to pay more than £500 in court after spitting in a bus stop.

Martin Golding spat in a bus stop in Plumstead Road on November 14, 2021.

Golding, of Abery Street in Plumstead, was ordered to pay £554 for the offence during a single justice procedure hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on June 13.

This includes a £220 fine, costs of £300 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.

This must be paid by July 11.
