Loughton High Street from c1920 showing the Park Café.
A popular establishment for visitors and locals alike specialising in the American soda fountain, the café would provide carbonated beverages and, later, ice cream and combinations thereof.
The open first floor veranda gave patrons an opportunity to watch the world go by whilst sipping tea.
It was demolished for offices in the 1980s.
