Police are looking to identify a man after a woman was sexually assault on a bus in Eltham.

Just after 7pm on October 18, 2021, a 26-year-old woman was followed onto the 160 bus by a man in Eltham High Street.

The man then sexually assaulted the woman in what has been described as a "brazen attack".

Anyone with information should call police "immediately" on 101 quoting quoting CAD 6748/18Oct.

Detective Constable Mark Davies, the investigating officer, said: "This was a brazen attack on a lone female while she was travelling on a bus.

"Anyone who recognises this man or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police immediately."

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the sexual assault of a woman on a bus in London have released a picture of a man they would like to identify.

"Shortly after 19:00hrs on 18 October 2021, a 26-year-old woman was followed onto the 160 bus by a man in Eltham High Street.

"The man then sexually assaulted the woman.

"Anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting CAD 6748/18Oct, or Crimestoppes, 100pc anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
