A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Beckenham. 

The incident happened in Beckenham High Street yesterday (June 4) shortly after 12.50pm.

The pedestrian, who was an elderly man, was taken to hospital.

His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called by LAS at 12.52pm on Saturday, 4 June to High Street, Beckenham, to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

“The pedestrian, an elderly man, was taken to hospital - his condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

“No arrests.”
