A man is in hospital after being slashed in the face in Bexleyheath.
Police were called to reports of a man found injured in Townley Road.
The incident happened today (May 19) shortly after 6.50pm.
The man reportedly left the scene in a car before the arrival of the police.
He then admitted himself to a south London hospital at around 7.10pm with slash injuries to his face.
His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 6.51pm on Thursday, 19 May to reports of a man found injured in Townley Road, Bexleyheath.
“Officers attended and spoke to witnesses who reported that the man had left the area in a car before police arrived.
“Shortly after 7.10pm, a man self-presented at a south London hospital with a slash injury to his face.
“His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6665/19May.
