Detectives investigating the death of a 30-year-old man have released CCTV as part of ongoing enquiries into his murder.

“Hard-working and humble” Olsi Kuka was found with stab wounds at a flat in High Road, Whetstone, in the early hours of Wednesday May 11.

Emergency services were called to the property shortly before 3am but he was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Over the last week, the Metropolitan Police have made four arrests and charged two men with Mr Kuka’s murder.

However, detectives are trying to trace more people who they believe were at the flat at the time of the stabbing.

The Met has released four clips of CCTV footage from High Road and nearby Macaret Close.

The CCTV shows two white/silver vehicles seen driving into Macaret Close that police want to trace and a group of people seen running in High Road and Macaret Close.

Detective chief inspector Neil Rawlinson, from the Met’s specialist crime command, said: “I am urging anyone with information to come forward. If you were there, do the right thing and contact my team.

“Olsi’s family deserve answers. We will get those answers – it is only a matter of time.”

Mr Kuka’s father Mehdi said: “We as a family are devastated by the loss of our beloved Olsi so far from home. He was a loving son, hardworking and very friendly and never harmed anyone and was so humble.

“We appeal to the public to assist the police in catching the others responsible for his murder.”

There has been a police presence in High Road since the stabbing and Barnet detective superintendent Ray Keating says people will continue to see a presence.

He said: “My officers are there for you 24/7; you will continue to see a visible presence in the area, and I would encourage you to speak with them if you have any concerns.”

As of May 19, Bulent Bakir, 25, of Old Road, Enfield and Daige Ramsey, 23, of Winchester Road, Highams Park, east London have been charged with Mr Kuka’s murder.

A 24-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until mid-June.

A 35-year-old man initially arrested in connection with the investigation has been released with no further action.

Anyone with information about Mr Kuka’s murder is asked to call the incident room on 020 8358 0200 or 101 quoting reference CAD 655/11May.
