AN INCREDIBLE video shows lightning strike during the thunderstorm last night in south east London.
It comes after the Met Office put warnings in place with the whole of the capital expected to see thunder.
A video sent into The News Shopper by Stephen Sangster showed one of the many strikes from last night.
The footage was filmed by the local from the skies of Orpington.
The warning took place from 7pm yesterday (May 18) until 3am this morning (May 19).
The Met Office has now announced it will be dry and largely clear tonight with light winds following the thunderstorm.
