A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Charlton.
Officers were called to Wellington Gardens today (May 18) at 8.40am.
The child was then taken to a south London hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The child’s injuries are believed not to be life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 8.40am on Wednesday, 18 May to reports of a car in collision with a child on Wellington Gardens, SE7.
“Officers attended.
“The child was taken by LAS to a south London hospital; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
