Dartford police have rescued a swan that they saw walking along University Way and returned it to a nearby lake.
PC Smith and PC Midford slowed down traffic and collected the bird off the road.
The swan was given a ride in the police car and returned to a nearby lake.
They could not resist dropping some Hot Fuzz puns in their tweets.

Kent police Dartford tweeted: “Whilst on patrol today, PCSO SMITH and PCSO MIDFORD have come across a Swan walking along University Way, Dartford.
“Safely slowed down traffic and returned the Swan to a nearby lake.
“#ProactivePatrol
