Anti-social behaviour is "likely" in Wimbledon town centre over the next two days, according to police.

An anti-social behaviour dispersal order has been authorised from 12pm today until 11.59pm on April 29.

This is following police intelligence about "likely" anti-social behaviour and previous incidents which have caused alarm for the public.

When the order is in effect, it is an offence to:

  • Fail to comply with a direction from PCs/PCSOs to disperse from the area.
  • Fail to surrender items likely to cause antisocial behaviour when asked by PCs/PCSOs.
  • Return within a specified period after directed to disperse from the area.
