On 9th April 2022,  Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were married in front of an array of family and celebrities. Both couple's families and close friends were in attendance, including celebrity friends Venus WIlliams, Serena Williams, and Eva Longaria. Brooklyn is the son of footballer legend David Beckham and former spice girl Victoria Beckham. His new wife Nicola's parents are billionaire businessman Newton Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner. Brooklyn and Nicola met in October 2019 and announced they were a couple on Instagram in January 2020. After a whirlwind romance, they confirmed their engagement in July 2020.

There has been huge media interest in their wedding and where it would be held. The ceremony was held on the Peltz family estate in Florida. The estate is estimated to be worth over a whopping $100 million dollars!

Many people wondered whether Nicola's wedding dress would be designed by Brooklyn's mother Victoria. Nicola confirmed that the wedding dress was designed by Valentino. Brooklyn's outfit along with his fathers David and his brothers Cruz and Romeo were designed by Kim Jones from the fashion house Dior.

Vogue magazine was confirmed as the couple's choice to publish all of the wedding photos. It has been reported that the magazine paid over $1 million dollars for the exclusive rights, but the couple have not confirmed details of the deal.

The wedding festivities were held from 8th to 10th April, which included a pre wedding dinner and brunch on the Sunday. It has been estimated that the wedding cost over $3 million dollars (£2.7 million) which is considerably more than most weddings. The average UK wedding costs around £20,000!

The couple posted a picture of themselves after the wedding ceremony and introduced themselves as Mr and Mrs Peltz-Beckham. They both updated their Instagram handles to reflect the change. Although this is not the traditional path that many choose to take when a bride takes the groom's surname; many couples are choosing to take each other's surnames. Many individuals have built a career for themselves which their name and this allows them to maintain their identity.
