Every year on April 22, people come together to take part in activities, such as volunteering in cleanup in the community, cutting down the number of things they throw for waste, gardening at home, using sustainable products thing used on daily bases to reduce plastic waste and educating on how to make the earth a better place to live on. Earth day is celebrated all around the globe and is also celebrated in schools where students are dressed in green clothing to show the support they are giving for environmental protection.

Fun Fact - Earth day has been celebrated for 52 years now, in which it was first held in 1970.

Earth day is not only celebrated to show support for environmental protection but to aware people of the damage that is happening to the environment that they live around. The Earth is changing day by day due to climate change, pollution, deforestation, and industrial damage which are caused by humans, that is why this day is celebrated to remind people that the place that we live is important and should be looked after too.

Celebrate this day and show your support by recycling, reusing, and reducing the thing you use and making the world a better place.

“Small thing we do and change can make a lot of difference so lets celebrate this day by showing support.”
