For some, Easter means chocolate eggs, bonnets and spring, but for others, Easter means a nice pint in the sun (if you are lucky) and a chunk of time off work.

Greenwich is filled with wonderful places to visit for a drink, but we have gathered together the top seven beer gardens or outdoor spaces that would really make your 2022 Easter bank holiday something special.

We have sieved through the depths of Trip Advisor and Google reviews to recommend to you what we think is the best of the best.

Oh and did we mention? London is predicted to hit 21 degrees on Easter weekend which gives you all the more reason to get out there and enjoy yourself.

The Gipsy Moth - 60 Greenwich Church St, Greater, London SE10 9BL

A crowd favourite. The pub itself has a discreet nautical theme, with mermaid statues at the bar. The beer garden can fit up to 200 people and has plenty of homely feeling plants and parasols in case the rain does pay a visit. It is also close to the famous Cutty Sark ship if you fancy seeing the sights a little before your pint!

Not to mention, what is Easter without some spring chickens? If you visit the British Oak you can see some live ones in the beer garden.
