A man from Erith has been fined more than £800 after dropping a cigarette outside a bookie in Plumstead.
Ricky Khan, of Windrush Court in Erith, was ordered to pay £834 after depositing a cigarette outside Paddy Power in Plumstead High Street on September 3, 2021.
This includes a £440 fine, £44 to fund victim services and costs of £350.
The verdict was proved in a single justice procedure at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on April 4, 2022.
Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies in this area.
The fine for the offence must be paid in instalments of £70 per month starting from May 2.
