The Jubilee line Night Tube is set to return after a two-year forced suspension caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The return will come on the evening of Saturday May 21 and will only run on the weekend in perfect time for the start of summer.

Transport for London confirmed the news of the highly anticipated return and even hinted that the Northern and Piccadilly lines night services will make a come back in summer.

With the Jubilee Line running throughout the night on Friday and Saturdays, starting on May 21 and will join the Central and Victoria lines which resumed services back in November of last year.

TfL has said that they hope the return of the night services will help businesses including bars, clubs, and restaurants as London's nighttime economy returns to normal.

For many, the night tubes return will be great relief with safe, quick travel options back for all travellers making the most of London's exciting evenings.

Nick Dent, London Underground's Director of Customer Operations, said: "The return of Night Tube on the Jubilee line, along with the Piccadilly and Northern lines later in the summer, will be a boost to the night-time economy and help our customers travel around London overnight at weekends.

"London is a global destination and we are proud to be doing our part to help people to safely and enjoyably benefit from the best of its world-leading night-time economy."

Elsewhere the tube will continue to operate between 5.30am and 00.30am through central London from Monday to Saturday, and TfL has started running some earlier trains on Sunday.
