On the evening of March 15th, I had been invited to an Awards night at Wandsworth town hall as I had won the Jack petchey award, this awards night had secondary schools like Graveney, Burntwood, Bollingbroke,Chestnut Grove,St cecilia and St Xaviers Sixth form college.
For those who are wondering what this award is and what must you do to achieve this, well its specifically for young people who went over and beyond and have excelled in something or are all rounders. This award can be given out due to someones qualities, what activities they partake in or their academics.
In the award show, the students recieved a gold medallion placed in a royal blue velvet box and had recieved a framed certificate from their teachers in school from before.
Overall it was a lovely night as you had the chance to experience your achievements being acknowledged and you were given the spotlight.
