The Met Office has predicted a weekend of frosty sunshine and scattered showers across south London this weekend.

After the UK had it’s sunniest March since 1929, the temperature has now dropped, and south Londoners will face mostly cool temperatures during the first weekend in April.

This weekend will see more chilly weather across south London - although feeling less cold in the sunny spells.

Saturday will be beginning with sunshine that is predicted to last until 11am – then comes the wintry clouds and potential showers – maximum temperature being 10 degrees.

Sunday has a similar outlook, with morning sunshine eventually leading to overcast by lunchtime.

After a cold and frosty start, it will be another day of sunshine and scattered showers.

Largely dry with bright or sunny spells Sunday, after a frosty start.

Rain arriving overnight, clearing southeast on Monday, with brighter skies following.
