Firstly, the way this story was written is beautiful. A reader can only marvel at how you drown into the plot, it keeps you captivated every second of the book. Novels can usually drag on, making it a struggle to keep up and you end up with ignoring the true meaning of what you're reading, you sit through tons of boring descriptions. However, this book does the opposite. When reading the book you forget the real world and live in the book instead. Your attention is caught from the very first sentence to the very last.

Evelyn is captivating as a narrator and a character. The book exposes the true Hollywood, it makes you wonder maybe your favourite celebrity’s marriage is similar to Evelyn’s.

By the end of the story, I was sobbing, you become so compelled by this story and the underlying implications.
