On Thursday the 10th of march students and teachers at highams park school celebrated culture day. Everyone was encouraged to dress in cultural clothes or wear the colours of their flags to represent their countries.

" Culture day was really fun and was a great way to represent and celebrate each others countries culture. Everyone felt very united and happy on the day which was nice to see."

As well as dressing up the school also hosted a fashion show in the main hall after school where everyone came together and walked the runway show casing their amazing outfits. The atmosphere was so happy and uplifting. 

We also had a talk delivered to the business and sociology students from Sharmane Barrett and Anna Makanda on Inspire to Aspire. It was a motivational talk to help inspire young minds. 

Overall culture day was very eventful and fun for students to participate in. It was a great way to celebrate culture and bring everyone together.
