I Had the amazing opportunity to experience Monopoly Life sized with my mum. It is located on Tottenham Court Road by Goodge Street station and is an experience of a lifetime.  It also has its own restaurant and bar called The Top Hat located inside.

When playing Monopoly life sized you take part in  many exciting activities such as completing challenges, building houses, charging rent, escaping jail and controlling London’s waterworks as you travel around the life sized board earning as much money as you can by completing escape room style challenges. In teams you are fighting for the win with just 80 minutes to gather as much property’s, houses, hotels and money as you can.

Each team has a token (someone experienced from monopoly life sized) who helps control the money, tasks and everything to do with the team. There are four monopoly boards to choose from: the Luxury board, the City board, the Classic board and the Junior board. I played on the City board which was all London themed and even had Big Ben as our timer which chimed when each round was over.

There was  a Life sized jail (my team managed to avoid it  which benefited us but I would of loved to have experienced it ), the Community Chest  and Mr Monopoly himself, which helped to recreate the board game experience and truly felt like I was inside the board game.

“It was a very fun and entertaining activity with not a single dull moment and something always going on, the challenges were very exciting and truly made you feel like you were in the game. It was a lovely day to spend with family, I definitely recommend to visit with your own family.” Said Katarzyna Albrycht.

In my opinion,  it is a remarkable activity to experience and helps you fulfil your childhood dreams of being in the monopoly game, it is a extraordinary activity to do with family and friends and is also located in central London with many places to visit afterwards.
