A reviewer said: “The restaurant was buzzing on a Sunday afternoon.

“Very nice atmosphere, the service was charming if a little sparse (can be forgiven because the restaurant was very busy and when we did request anything it was brought straight away).

“The food was absolutely outstanding.

“Everything from the house cured salmon to the desserts was top notch.

“Highly recommended.”

Aqua Shard – London Bridge

Aqua shard is a lively, cosmopolitan restaurant serving innovative contemporary British food.

A reviewer said Aqua Shard has “great views, lovely food and great service”.

“We arrived a little early for our reservation, but the restaurant reception staff were lovely and managed to allocate us a table by the window.

“The service was excellent, very efficient, and courteous.

“The food was really nice, and the wine pairing worked really well.

“The views were amazing; it did help that the weather was sunny.

“We would definitely return.”

Grind – Greenwich

Greenwich Grind is an all-day restaurant and cocktail bar (with bottomless brunch options), close to Greenwich Market and the Cutty Sark.

Grind is a quirky venue with plenty of seating areas – a great spot for those wanting to enjoy a few alcoholic beverages this sunny weekend.

The brunch menu includes a breakfast burrito, sweet potato harissa cakes, smoked salmon crumpets and buttermilk pancakes – delicious.

One reviewer said: “We only write about places worth going to, and this is one.

“Greenwich is beautiful, and this resto/cocktail bar is worth a couple of your precious hours.

“Unlimited Prosecco, wonderful food and gorgeous interior, plus the people seem lovely.

“You’ll hear David Attenborough talking back at you through the sound system, just awesome.”

Another reviewer said Grind is a “delightful” venue that provides a “warm welcoming environment”.
