A man from Greenwich has been fined more than £200 after dropping a cigarette outside Tesco.
Garvin Yong of Thames Street in Greenwich, was fined £234 for depositing a cigarette in Creek Road on July 22, 2021.
This includes a £100 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £100.
The verdict was proved in a single justice procedure at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on February 22, 2022.
Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies in this area.
The fine for the offence must be paid by March 22, 2022.
