London is notorious for being an absolute nightmare for parking, but does the south east live up to that reputation?

Whether it is battling for a space or the unreal length of time it can take to get back out onto the road, south east London has its fair share of irritating car parks.

Then when you are finally back out onto the road, the standstill traffic can leave you feeling like you might as well be parked up.

We asked News Shopper readers what they think is the most annoying car park in South London – Did some of the answers spring to your mind too?

1. At the top of the list was definitely Glades Bromley car park.

• “Glades Bromley car park. You go round and round and round and round and round and round to get out. Bl**** dizzy or what.”

• “All of you saying the glades helter-skelter car park, I was caught midway up just before Xmas when they decided to evacuate due to a fire alarm being set off.... had to reverse all the way down it.”

• “Coming down the helter-skelter at the glades Bromley makes me feel sick.”

2. “The car park that belongs to bingo and cinema at Bexleyheath. Try sleeping when your garden is on their wall. Cars at all hours racing around it and now it's motorbike. We have it none stop from 12 at night to the early hours.”

3. “The M25.”

4. “Sun in Sands roundabout in Blackheath might as well be a car park in the morning.”

5. “Hospital car parks are far too expensive.”

6. “Morrisons, Petts Wood.”

7. “Didn’t realise we had car parks. I thought the whole of south was a car park, always on a standstill.”

8. “All of them you have got to pay at.”

9. “Dartford tunnel.”

10. “Sainsburys, Chislehurst.”

Of course, some answers are much better defined as a car park than others.

Have you come across car parks that are worse than these?
