Police are appealing for help in finding ten football fans after violent disorder at the Millwall vs Crystal Palace FA cup match.

Officers have released images of ten men who they want to speak to after alleged attacks on opposition fans when the game finished at about 2.45pm on January 8.

A man in image 073971 is also wanted in connection with a suspected homophobic public order offence in the stands during the clash.

Anyone who recognises any of these people or has any information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote the image reference numbers, 073967, 073977, 073973, 073971, 073972, 073976, 073975, 073974, 073969 and 073968.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Officers from the Met’s Football Investigation Team are appealing for help to identify nine men following violent disorder at a Millwall v Crystal Palace FA Cup game at The Den stadium in January.

“They are sought following alleged attacks on opposing fans at around 14:45hrs on 8 January.

“They are also appealing to help identify one man in image 073971 in connection with a suspected homophobic public order offence in the stands during the match.

“Anyone who recognises any of these people or has any information about them is urged to contact police on 101 and quote the image reference number.

“Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or tweet @MetCC with any information.”
