Two people have been taken to hospital after a car overturned in Greenwich.

Police were called to the scene in Shrewsbury at around 2pm.

Two occupants with minor injuries were taken to hospital as a precaution.

No arrests have been made.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Call at 14:03hrs after car overturns at Shrewsbury Lane, x2 occupants with minor injuries taken to hospital as precaution.

"No arrests."

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Shrewsbury Lane in Plumstead.

"A car collided with two parked cars and overturned.

"Two women left their vehicle before the Brigade arrived and were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.

"The Brigade was called at 1405 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1439.

"Two fire engines from Eltham and Plumstead fire stations and a fire rescue unit from Lewisham Fire Station attended the scene."
