A man has been escorted out of a south east London station after a disturbance on a train.

British Transport Police were called to Falconwood station at around 10.25pm on Saturday night.

It had been reported that a passenger was causing a disturbance on a train.

The train was held until police arrived.

The man was then escorted out of the station.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Falconwood station at 10.26pm on Saturday 19 March following reports of a passenger causing a disturbance on a train.

"The train was held until officers arrived and the man was escorted out of the station."
