A woman has been in court for using a dead person's Blue Badge in her car in Bromley.
Eleanor Grant displayed the badge issued under Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 on a red Renault vehicle in Bromley on September 2, 2021.
However, the badge should have been returned to the issuing authority in compliance with regulations under subsection 6 as the holder was deceased.
The 46-year-old admitted to the offence in a single justice procedure hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on February 23, 2022.
Grant, of Pool Court, was ordered to pay £424 in total for the offence.
This includes a fine of £40, surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £350.
She must pay £40 a month starting from March 22.
