A Thamesmead man has landed a hefty fine in court for spitting in the street in Woolwich.
Barry Sugett was found guilty of spitting in Plumstead Road in Woolwich on June 14, 2021.
He threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely Saliva, according to the courts.
Sugett, of Whinchat Road in Thamesmead, was ordered to pay £834 for the offence which was proved in his absence at a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on February 14, 2022.
This includes a £440 fine, £44 to fund victim services and costs of £350.
This must be paid by March 14.
