Train services are being delayed this morning (February 24) due to a signalling problem at Belvedere station.

The issue was reported by Southeastern Rail shortly after 7.40am.

Southeastern said the issue will cause disruption to journeys between Plumstead and Slade Green.

Trains on the Woolwich line in both directions will be diverted through alternative routes or some may be cancelled.

Passengers are being advised to use their tickets at no extra cost on buses between Dartford and Lewisham, and DLR services between Lewisham and Greenwich.

The disruption through the line is expected to last until 11am.

Southeastern (@Se_Railway) tweeted: “We've received early reports of a signaling problem that may cause disruption in the #Belvedere area. Further details to be published in this thread.
