A woman who allegedly threatened staff and customers with a knife in a Peckham restaurant has been arrested.
Police were called Choumert Road shortly after 12pm today (February 22).
A crime scene was established, as officers in helmets surrounded the restaurant entrance.
The suspect allegedly entered armed with a knife, threatening staff and customers. She also reportedly caused damage to the premises.
After a standoff, she was arrested and taken into custody.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A Met spokesperson said: "Police remain at the scene. Some road closures are in place."
Jobari Gooden, 27, was fatally stabbed outside a barber's shop opposite the restaurant on December 17, 2021.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the killing.
