Valuables including six watches were stolen during a burglary in Potters Bar.

Thieves broke into a home in Forbes Avenue between 3.30am and 4.50am on Friday January 21.

Six watches, four phones, a bag of collectable coins and a coat were stolen, Hertfordshire Constabulary said.

Damage was also caused to the front door.

Police have now released two CCTV images of a man who they think might be able to help their enquiries.

Detective Constable Thomas Henry, who is investigating, said: “We would like to speak to the man pictured as we believe he could have vital information that will help our investigation. If you recognise him, or if you have information yourself about what happened, please get in touch by calling the non-emergency number 101 or email me at thomas.henry@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/5935/22.

“Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to investigate. Everyone in Hertfordshire has the right to feel that their home and property are safe; we are committed to dealing with burglary swiftly and robustly.”
