The driver of a Renault from Greenwich has been fined and disqualified after being caught drink driving in Tower Hamlets.
Jeyda Christina Doherty, of Clothworks Road, Greenwich, was stopped while driving in Commercial Street on January 22, 2022.
The 22-year-old was ordered to pay £280 after admitting to the offence during a hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court on February 9, 2022.
This includes a £161 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £85 which must be paid by March 9.
There was 58 microgrammes of alcohol in a sample of 100 millilitres of Jeyda’s breath - which exceeds the 35 micrograms limit.
She was also disqualified from driving for a total of 16 months.
Her disqualification can be reduced by 113 days if she completes a course by December 16, 2022, which must be approved by the Secretary of State.
