Two men from Lewisham have been charged after a man was allegedly threatened with a gun on the street in broad daylight.

Kinley Abrahams and Imani Abrahams have each been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

At around 2pm on Sunday January 30, an occupant of a black Volkswagen Golf is alleged to have exited the car before confronting a man in Melbourne Road, Chatham, and threatening him with a firearm.

No injuries were sustained during the incident

Following police inquiries, searches at several locations, an imitation firearm, blank firing rounds, cocaine and cannabis were recovered from an address in London.

The car reported to be involved was also located at the same property. A further quantity of cannabis was seized from an address in Croydon.

Kinley Abrahams, 43, of Pasture Road, Hither Green, has additionally been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 12, where he was remanded in custody to attend Maidstone Crown Court on March 14.

Imani Abrahams, 21, of Winchfield Road, Lower Sydenham, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 10.

At the hearing, he was remanded in custody to attend Maidstone Crown Court on March 10.
