A driver of a Mercedes has been fined more than £800 after drink driving in Lewisham.
Shehaj Ajet, of Foxwell Street, Lewisham was stopped while driving on Brockley Rise on January 7, 2022.
The 28-year-old was fined £846 for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on January 24, 2022, after pleading guilty.
This includes a £692 fine, £69 to fund victim services and costs of £85.
There was 57 microgrammes of alcohol in a sample of 100 millilitres of Shehaj’s breath - which exceeds the 35 micrograms limit.
He was also disqualified from driving for a total of 16 months.
The fine must be paid in monthly instalments of £50 starting from February 21, 2022.
His disqualification can be reduced by 16 weeks if he completes a course by November 30, 2022, which must be approved by the Secretary of State.
