Four people have been arrested after two men were arguing in a street in Eltham - with one allegedly in posession of a gun.

Police were called at around 2.50pm this afternoon to reports of a disturbance in Kingsholm Gardens.

Two men were arguing - with one allegedly having a gun in his possession.

Specialist firearms police officers responded.

A woman, man and two teenage boys were arrested and taken into custody.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Enquiries continue, say police.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 14:52hrs on Monday, 14 February to Kingsholm Gardens SE9 after reports of a disturbance in the street.

"Two males were reported to be arguing with one allegedly in possession of a firearm.

"Specialist firearms officers responded.

"One woman, one man and two teenage boys were arrested and taken into custody.

"No reports of any injuries.

"Enquiries continue."
