A Charlton man was fined more than £1,000 after he was caught riding an e-scooter without insurance.
Gabriel Nestor, 23, of Victoria Way, was stopped by police on Greenwich High Street shortly before 10.40am on June 10, 2021.
He was found to be riding an e-scooter without insurance, in breach of the Road Traffic Act.
Bromley Magistrates' Court found him guilty on January 14, 2022.
He was fined an initial £900 for the offence, plus a victim’s surcharge of £90 and costs of £100, while six points were placed on his driving licence.
The court gave him until February 11 to pay the total £1,090 fine.
