Between Tuesday, March 1 and Saturday, March 5, 2022, The Addams family will be showing at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

The story follows the aristocratic family after Wednesday Addams (Kingsley Morton) has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a “respectable” family.

Only Gomez Addams (Cameron Blakely) knows of the romance, and he must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia.

The production will be directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Alistair David.

Additional cast members include Scott Paige as Uncle Fester, Grant McIntyre as Pugsley Addams, and Valda Aviks as the eerie Grandma.

Joanne Clifton has starred as Janet in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show, Alex Owens in the UK tour of Flashdance, and Dale Tremont in Top Hat, where she received her second Offie nomination.

Kingsley, who will play Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family, has revealed a diary entry to the News Shopper in light of Valentine's Day:

"Dear diary,

"Lucas told me today that there’s something called Valentine’s Day coming up soon.

"I’m not sure what it is, but he seems pretty excited about it.

"He said you get the person you love a gift like flowers or chocolates - I personally can’t think of anything I’d want less, but apparently it’s what normal people do.

"I know, I’ll get him a vial of poison, to show him that even death wouldn’t be able to end our love.

"Yes, that seems like a truly abhorrent idea, it’s absolutely imperfect.

"I’ll make sure to find a stealthy way to ask Grandma which poison would cause the most excruciating death, without letting on what it’s actually for - it’s not time for my family to find out about Lucas yet.

"We’ll tell them soon, and we can finally start the rest of our own sorrowful life together.

"Eternally tragic, Wednesday."
